March SNOW

We woke up on Sunday, March 1st, with enough snow for Wil to play in and experience! Here are some pictures when we were saying bye to the Freijes and then, after church. Hope you smile!
Wil's first time to 'really' touch snow (the Freije's van).

Friendly Fun with The Freije Family!

Well, we had a blast on Saturday evening, Feb. 28th, with the Freije Family. Mark, Kim, Jonathan, and Beth were our back-door neighbors when we lived in Kenya. As with all of our missionary friends, we became "family" with the Freijes. They stopped in to meet Wil and see us on their way down to Florida for spring break. It was wonderful to "greet" them all--and a little funny to all be on this side of the big pond.:) Guys, you know, we love you. Thanks so much for coming our way!Beth, Mark, Kim, & Jonathan
Enjoying dinner.

Okay, the short story of the two following photos: I LOVE to cook...uh...I mean bake. Well, in Kenya, our stove was a bit problematic..... I had never heard of a Sugar-Cream Pie, before I learned it was Mark's favorite, especially his mom's recipe. Let's just say, it was quite fluid. So, as a surprise, they brought me a S.C. pie--the way it is supposed to be! It was a delightful surprise--and VERY yummy!
