Baseball Boy

This outfit was given to Wil by my cousin & wife, Matt& Jen Moore. Matt is a huge fan of baseball, specifically The Univ. of Virginia, where he played. Go Cavs!!!!

Who's Nose?

Wil, who's nose "do" you have?:)

Wil has always done this. Of course, we think it's cute. I have good memories of my Papaw (my mother's father) "getting" my nose this way.

Boys & Hiking

Bryan and his "camping" friends have a tradition: Camping on Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend. The colder, the better!

Friends here, Steve Roan and Jeff Cordell.

Baby Showers

Babies On-The-Way!

Becky Todd Swanger and her husband, Michael, are expecting a boy, Samuel Edwin, on March 18, 2008! "Becky Todd" and I became friends in Fountain City UMC's youth group. We were also on the Holston Conference Youth Council together! Love you, BT!

Alyson Henbest, husband Heath, and soon-to-be BIG brother, Sawyer, are expecting "Sissy" (keeping name secret) on March 17, 2008 (St. Patrick's Day)! Alyson and I met through a social group, "Bon Temps". We've extended our friendship with walking and many other fun things!

Grandfather Dalton Time....

Spending time with Grandfather Dalton!

This was given to Wil from his cousin Debbie Caylor Johnson (Dalton side).

Jan. 23rd was Dad's birthday. I remembered this idea from Kenya--take pictures and email!:)

Shot Time!

This morning, 1-24-08, Wil and I traveled to the Franklin Co. Health Dept. for his two-month shots. Wil did beautifully! (I only wish more than ever that all the other shot visits would go this well!) Thus far, he's reacting quite well, not too fussy and no fever (knock on wood).

More Smiling Machine!

I swear, I never thought in a million years that "Papaw's" vanity as a changing table would humor both Wil and Mom so often! ...and to think, we almost took the mirror off!!

Happy 2 Month Birthday, Wil!

Jan. 11, 2008
Bryan kept going around saying to Wil, "Can you believe you've been alive for two whole months? Well, actually, more than that...."

In his crib

Playing with Grandfather Dalton on his mat.

Enjoying watching himself and his Grandmother in his "cadillac"!

It's Finally Here!

Finally, on Jan. 8th, I had eye surgery (my second) to correct my double vision AND straighten my left eye!

First Virus

On Jan. 5th, we had Bryan's family over for his father's birthday lunch. Well, Wil spiked a fever and after cake, we had to kindly ask them to leave so we could take him up to Sewanee. Thankfully, it was just a virus (that he caught from his dad!), but he had his blood taken and a chest x-ray. Of course, he didn't enjoy it, but we thought he did wonderful through the sticking/prodding process.

Sick Wil.

Bill making a wish?

The Bill Myers Family. (If you look very closely, you might notice Belinda has on an engagement ring. For those of you from South Knoxville, she's engaged to Chad Black (who graduated Vet school with Jeff).

Safari Boy with Tullahoma Gals

Here's our little Safari Boy!
The "safari" part is due to his shoes, given by The Manchester Family (our wonderful friends from Tenwek). In Kenya's shoe store, Bata, they have shoes that have "safari" printed in the leather, like this type. PS Our Wil got the spelling from their youngest, Wil Manchester.:)

Missy Koch (holding Wil) and her daughter, Lily; Julia & Maddie McNiel (met Julia &Chuck in childbirth classes); and Lisa Wiley came to Winchester (from Tullahoma) to have lunch at our "new" coffee house on the square. We had a great time. I'm so blessed to have found good friends in the area!

Happy New Year, 2008!

These pictures are during the first week of the year....

Dad playing with Wil. Wil loves this Leap Frog bug!!! Smiles and laughs all around.

A shirt from my friend, Beth Sharrett: "Daddy's Best Buddy".

December Visitors

Jason Parker (Bryan's friend from childhood), his parents, and his fiancee, Valerie Prichett (my friend from Fountain City UMC's youth group) came over for dinner & a visit on 12-28-07. It was great to see them as usual! Congrats Jason & Val!

Jennifer & Jonny Bell stopped in while in Winchester on the 29th.

Anyone Tired?

Gotta love this picture. How many of you have been here? Love Mommy-hood!:)

Bath Time

Up to this point (12-27-07), Wil had only "sponge baths." He did quite well.

After the bath...
