Our Fall Family Vacation 6

Also on our tour of Cades Cove, we stopped at the Betsy Cable Home & Mill, various churches, the John Oliver home place, and the Tipton Place. Once again, the Tipton Place holds a very special place in my heart. My Grandmother and Grandfather Dalton lived in this home while he carried mail throughout the cove. My eldest aunt (Dolores) and uncle (Bob) were born here. I know Wil doesn't understand yet, but I just had to get some pictures of him at their home. This is the only home with a carriage house (near road) and a candle-levered barn across the road.
