Granddaddy's Farm Trip with Church, 10-9-10

***Traveling through Fontana! We stopped to see the Dam...my Papaw, J.R. Corbett, helped build it. It was great to see as a family. Beautiful water....

***First Train Ride, Bryson City, NC. TOTALLY Loved it---the ride AND Bryson City! If you love great books, I will suggest BRYSON CITY TALES, by Dr. Walt Larrimore. This book is of his first practice, here in Bryson City. LOVED IT. Also, if you visit Bryson City, I'd highly recommend "Cork & Beans" restaurant.

***For this part of the trip, we headed for our second train ride in Stearns, KY. God is good. We met new friends, Ashley and her oldest son, Avery, on the train ride. We had a terrific time---and made new friends! Love ya, Ashley and Avery!

***Our Last Stand.... We met up with David, Jenny, and Ben for a hike to Chairt Creek Lodge. It was pioneer's finest with food and showers provided! We all had a blast...we always do with these special friends. Thanks, again guys! FYI: www.charitcreek.com
