Christmas with the Dalton's 2009

Once again, we gathered at Uncle Benny and Aunt Beverly's home for our Christmas Celebration on the 23rd (Uncle Benny's birthday). This year we were late, but much fun awaited us! Wil loved playing with his cousins and uncles!

Road Trip 12-19-09: NASHVILLE BOUND!

On Saturday, we decided to make a day of it on the road. We had a few stops in Murfreesboro (Toys R Us & Barnes & Noble pictured). Then on to the Opryland Hotel to hopefully go through ICE. Well, we decided to cancel ICE after being on the interstate exit ramp for two hours. We were determined to eat and walk around so Wil could see the lights. We did find a place to eat (that could seat us before 8pm) and even at that, it wasn't fast (so crowded.) We had gone though all of our food stash, so poor Wil, he dug in to the Heinz! We had a great day, even with the traffic.

I decided to brave the possible paint mess (after manymonths of avoiding) and go for it with Wil. Of course, he just loved it!

Wil's First Christmas Play

On the evening of Dec. 14th, Wesley Preschool had their Nativity Pageant. Wil was one of the many stable animals. As they were walking in, he saw Bryan stand up to take a picture and from then on all everyone heard was "Daddy, Daddy." They also painted shirts and sang "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". Plus, Santa came to visit. Wil loved watching Santa with Dad, but like most young ones, wasn't pleased when face to face with him. In fact, he's told me about six times since then, "Don't like sitting on Santa's lap." Merry Christmas, everyone!

Last OurTime Kindermusik Class, 12-14-09

On Dec. 14th. we had our last Our Time Kindermusik class. We had fun with scarves, rocking, and bells! We did miss Maddox very much. We hope you are feeling better Maddox! Thanks again for a great class, guys! Merry Christmas!
